The layout made it possible to both run trains
from the yard to the turn around loop and back
again or continue to Golden Valley Yard and switch
cars at the industries along the line. The
industrial area of Modesto proposed another
challenge for anybody eager to switch cars.
The module Springfield has been modernized and
has also been given a new name. It is now called
Fresno.
