The layout was divided in two areas with Portola Yard serving both areas. The eastern part consisted of modules with the greener colors and the western part of module with the colors from the Fremo Southwest standard.
A couple of branch lines made the traffic interesting.
Engines and rolling stock were from the 80. The use of cabooses increased the challenge for all switching moves.
